How Tenable is growing at 50 percent annually and keeping up the pace

Tenable’s CFO said the company is hiring quickly, developing new products and expanding its international footprint to keep up growth that is tracking at about 50 percent annually.

COPT fully leases new Columbia incubator, plans second location

Seven companies have signed leases in Corporate Office Properties Trust’s new 21,000-square-foot incubator in Columbia Gateway.

The incubator, branded “Cirql,” is stationed in a one-story office building at 7134 Columbia Gateway Dr. The building is 100 percent leased as of this month, and COPT plans to build on the demand by plotting a second Cirql location just across the parking lot.

Executive Kittleman announces FY 2018 capital budget initiatives to advance Gateway Innovation District and community services consolidation

County Executive Allan H. Kittleman today announced two important projects to be included in his proposed Fiscal Year 2018 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget, which will be presented to the County Council tomorrow.

At a press conference in the Gateway Business Park, Kittleman outlined plans to create the Howard County Innovation Center in the county-owned Gateway Building. He also announced plans to create a Community Resources Campus to further consolidate human services. County Executive Kittleman Announces Vision for the Future of Columbia Gateway

Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman joined economic development officials, property owners, and businesses to announce his vision to turn Columbia Gateway, Howard County’s largest business center, into an innovation district.

Located at the intersection of I-95 and Rt. 175, midway between Washington and Baltimore, Columbia Gateway is home to over 400 businesses, employing approximately 26,000 people. The park combined with neighboring Gateway Commerce Center is 920 acres with a total of 8.1 million sq. ft. of commercial space.
